The LORD Trade was born as a result of the divine direction God gave to the lives of its founders. Amidst a challenging economic situation, the Lord called, transformed, and strengthened them, revealing the path He had prepared for them. As a Father's promise, He showed them that International Trade was the right path, confirming it through export opportunities that came as a clear sign of His support.
Daniel and Leida met in 2001 while studying at the Latin University of Costa Rica, without imagining that more than two decades later they would be fulfilling together the dreams born in their youth. After finishing their studies and living a few years in Costa Rica, they moved to Venezuela to work in the family business Confitería El Loro, where for 10 years they successfully led one of its branches.
In 2018, they settled in Bogotá, Colombia, and founded Distribuidora El Loro, a company that became the seedbed and starting point of what is today The LORD Trade. Recognizing that this project was a purpose and a gift from God, they decided to transform El Loro and usher in a new stage, guided by faith and obedience.
Every step has been taken under the Lord's guidance, and every achievement has been evidence of His faithfulness. That is why we have decided to glorify God and give Him all the honor, for He has accompanied, guided, and blessed us at every moment.
The LORD Trade is more than a company: it is a living testimony that walking with God and obeying His call brings blessing, both on earth and in heaven.
